We’re Patricia and Jazz Azze and we love to host. A good time means the details have been thought through so that you can properly kick it and relax later (preferably, with a dirty martini). That’s the spirit of our Warm Welcome Stays properties.
We’re avid travelers and have always preferred staying in a house over a hotel so that we can sink in and pretend we live there for a few days. We love having a kitchen, visiting local markets, stocking the fridge, and setting up a cocktail hour (ideally, using a local spirit - hello Greylock Gin!). Usually, our trips wound up with us Googling local real estate and wondering what would happen if we bought a house there. Then, we did it! And now you’re invited.
We landed on Great Barrington as the site of our first property for Warm Welcome and we couldn’t be happier. The area is so naturally beautiful. The food is amazing (get the sausage from North Plain Farm). There’s so much to do but no pressure to do anything at all. Then, we did it all over again with a second property in nearby Lenox so that we can offer our guests two distinct Berkshires vibes. Lenox is all about access to the arts and culture of the Berkshires region. The cozy treehouse we’ve set up there is the perfect place to get your creative juices flowing.
We want these homes are the backdrop to your vacation. We wanted the properties to feel fun, clean, cozy, and maybe a little groovy? We thought through everything you need so that you can really enjoy your time in the home, whether you’re working remotely or just working on your kitchen skills (there is everything you’d need - from a microplane to a moka pot).
