Do you recommend renting a car?

Yes, it’s essential to explore the area and to get to the house to have your own vehicle. While there are some private car services nearby, it’s not a popular ride share area so don’t count on Lyft or Uber.

How many people does the house sleep?

The maximum amount of guests allowed in the house is ten. There are four bedrooms (4 queen beds + 1 king bed). While we know that more people could easily crash on the comfortable sofas in the living room and den, we have limited the capacity of each booking to ten people.

Where is the property located?

Warm Welcome Great Barrington is located right outside of the Town of Great Barrington. We’re just 2 minutes away from Butternut Ski Mountain, actually, the house faces the back of the mountain. You can’t see another house from the property so it feels very remote but in reality, you’re about a 7-minute drive from town where you can find 3 grocery stores, a natural wine shop, a fancy cheesemonger, lots of restaurants (including Thai, Mexican, and sushi for takeout nights), a movie theater, and a wonderful farmer’s market during the season.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, we require bookings of 3 days/nights.

What is the cleaning fee?

The cleaning fee is $150. It is added onto every booking automatically.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 21 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after.

What is the payment schedule?

50% of the total payment is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before arrival.

What is the damage deposit?

A pre-authorization of USD 500.00 is due 1 days before arrival and released 5 days after departure.

Can I pay via wire transfer?

We can accommodate wire transfers but they are non-refundable. We require a 100% upfront payment at the time of booking for reservations requesting a wire transfer and cancellations are not allowed.
