Things To Do In The Berkshires: See A Play At Shakespeare & Company

The Berkshires have a rich history as an important area for the creation and cultivation of American theater. If you’re looking for something to do in the Berkshires, tapping into the theater scene is a must-do to add to your vacation activities.

Last summer we had the pleasure of seeing King Lear (big Succession vibes, it turned out) at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox. The production was outdoors, a perfect Covid-safe environment that only added to the storytelling. Best of all? The production starred Back To The Future’s own Christopher Lloyd as the titular character.

You may have missed that production, but there is year around programming at Shakespeare & Company, including weekend acting intensives and workshops.
